With that in mind, The Luxury Food Collective sprung into action to allow people to relive those experiences.

By sourcing top quality products from around the globe and making them available to buy online, customers could transport themselves to their favourite food havens and reminisce once more.

Brief

To create the definitive luxury food offering online. Dedicated as much to sustainability & ethical sourcing practices as it is to providing access to the finest and rarest available produce from across the globe. 

Design & Build

For this one, we worked in situ with a leading branding agency to bring to life the vision of an extremely passionate owner. This collaboration ensured the evolution of a brand that would work across all channels, particularly the online space. We now had a robust and effective design system and a wealth of options at our disposal.

Making the most of Shopify’s ever expanding feature set, we provided a comprehensive list of templates, blog options, content sections and options for filtering, search as welll as cross sells, upsells and bundles. 

Technical 

With a broad portfolio of suppliers, we created a product management solution that would allow integration with Business Central and also Shopify, unifying the stock and enrichment process.

We also had to make sure that the data model was polished and flexible for the many different food types across all suppliers. Custom shipping rules allowed for greater control of when baskets could be selected for delivery, with logic to ensure that perishable products would reach the customer in peak condition.

Copywriting 

Some 60,000 words later, The Luxury Food Collective's products, producers and collections were ready to entice, educate and ignite food-lovers worldwide.
