Located on Henry Street in Dublin, Arnotts is Ireland's largest and oldest department store. Building on our work with Brown Thomas, we were engaged to deliver a full store redesign and digital design system for Arnotts. We engaged with departments across the business to fully understand the retail proposition and the customer.
We drilled into the different user journeys across the store's wide product range. This has a direct bearing on the store UI: a page template optimised for selling beauty products may not work too well for furniture. Understanding these different purchase paths is essential for retailers such as Arnotts, who compete with specialist retailers across their ranges.
We ran a series of workshops with members of Anotts' ecommerce, buying, marketing and design teams.
These sessions generated ideas for inclusion in the project scope and helped engage the wider business in the redesign project.
