We're looking to add to our expanding digital marketing team with an SEO Lead. As ecommerce runs through our veins, you’ll be well versed in all things ecom and have a deep understanding of what’s required to propel a clients’ organic performance to new heights.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced agency environment with scope to shape the role and build out a team as the digital marketing function continues to grow. Clients and industries are varied and you’ll be working with some well-known brands, so someone who has experience of working with retailers is a distinct advantage.
Role and responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth technical audits and make recommendations where necessary
- Keyword research
- Build successful outreach strategies
- Regular site health checks and actioning improvements
- Creative thinking to stand out from the crowd and increase backlink profile
- Working with copy team to improve on-page content and landing pages
- Reporting of results to clients and comfortable explaining rationale at client meetings
- Work with development team to implement changes where required
- Own the SEO department and recruit where necessary
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and latest Algorithm changes
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years experience in a dedicated SEO role (agency or in-house in a retail environment)
- Demonstrable experience of delivering ROI from organic channels
- Knowledge of SEO tools such as Moz, SEMRush, GSC
- Understanding site architecture, schema etc.
- Experience in site migrations
- Shopify experience ideal but will consider other platform experience such as Magento
- Successful SEO projects with online retailers a distinct advantage
